Cleaning Wipes - Please Do Not Flush Down the Drain!!
We know there is much concern with Coronavirus and making sure all areas are clean. With all the cleaning wipes being used, we would like to just like remind our customers that cleaning wipes, or any type of wipe, should NEVER be flushed down the toilet.
When wipes are flushed down the drain, they can get stuck in the sewer laterals to your septic tank and also accumulate in your septic tank without degrading like toilet paper does. This can cause backups to occur , costly pump outs and need for repairs. We ask that cleaning wipes and all other types of wipes be disposed of properly in the trash so that the waste leaving your home enters the septic tank as designed and not become unnecessarily backed up.
