Septic Service Driver & Technician – CDL B w/ Tanker

Drive and operate vacuum tank trucks for pumping out septic/waste tanks. Maintain truck, pump/blower, tools and equipment. Training will be provided on operation of the pump/blower, equipment, tools, etc. Locate, expose and remove lids to waste tanks. Pump out septic/grease/waste tanks for residential and commercial clients. Transport waste to disposal facilities and offload. Interact with customers, answer questions, collect payments, etc. Fill out work orders, call customers when necessary. Communicate with other staff/employees. Must be able to work both alone and with others. Must be able to handle unpleasant smells and perform physical work, digging, pulling hose, moving heavy lids, etc. This is year-round outdoor work in most weather conditions. CDL B w/ tanker* required. (*if tanker endorsement needs to be obtained, we will train without driving until endorsement is obtained-within 2/3 weeks) No logs as all driving is intrastate within ~30-mile radius. Tools and equipment provided. Company shirts, rain gear and PPE provided, employees to supply their own pants, work boots, etc. Advancement available for motivated employees. PTO and/or ESL time provided. Health/dental/vision and retirement plan available. Higher hourly rate will be given if health benefits are waived. Initial wage offered will be based on experience/skills. An 8-week probation/training period after which an evaluation will be completed, and wage adjustment may be made. This is customer service forward, family run and owned small business with a unisex staff. The atmosphere is casual and respectful.
